Springboard to a healthier future

How I motivate my clients

On arrival at the gym, the client is met and greeted by me. There is a changing room facility available for those who prefer to change when they arrive.

We take a few minutes at the start of the session to plan the whole training session. Clear goals are set and agreed to by myself and the client.

The client and I are clearly motivated from the first five minutes of the session and we have clear goals and a set programme to adhere to.

By the end of the session, both myself and the client are really happy and feel elated when all the pre-set goals have been achieved.

All clients are encouraged to wear Polar heart monitors and watches during the training sessions, so that we can see how their hearts are performing at all times. The heart rate monitor and watch will also indicate how many calories are being burned during the session.

In addition to the traditional training methods, I am also very creative in setting up challenges, so that the client remains motivated at all times. For example, I have virtual walking/jogging from Land’s End to John O’Groats, walking up Snowdon and rowing to France and back!

All challenges are set and achieved using the gymnasium equipment.
